1. Immerse Yourself in Sensory Awareness to Awaken Intuitive Perception
Creating a calm environment where you can reflect by going within and using your imagination through visualization activates parts of your mind that can help you connect with the subtle energies around you.
Techniques like imagining yourself in a sensory-rich environment (especially when visualizing natural environments) and take note of what you first notice (the warmth of the sun on your skin, the lush vegetation around you, or the sound that the wind makes as it passes through the leaves of trees) can assist you in opening up to your inner senses which are the ones that carry intuitive information.

In my experience, I found out that I am more of a tactile person in perceiving energy.
When I received my first Reiki attunement, what I instantly noticed was the energy that started coursing through my hands, something that felt almost tangible. Then, when I started giving Reiki to other people, I would get intuitive flashes by receiving information out of nowhere about the person, information that hadn’t been shared with me beforehand. I could also perceive the Reiki energy with my inner vision as it moved through my or another person’s body.
