If you ever wondered if the level of consciousness you are at — which is the emotional state that you’re in your day-to-day reality — is measurable, the answer is yes.

There’s a measuring framework that can help us pinpoint the level of consciousness that we are operating from daily, which consequently affects our manifesting abilities, and it is called the scale of consciousness.
The scale of consciousness is a map that can help you figure out the state of consciousness you are engaging with life from, and what to do to raise this level.
If you have ever wondered if the level of consciousness you are at — which is the emotional state that you’re in your day-to-day reality — is measurable, the answer is yes.
In this article, we are going to explore themes that deal with how our emotional response to life determines the frequency we vibrate and thus our ability to grow spiritually and also our success in our manifesting practices.
So, if you’re ready, let’s begin.
Understanding the Foundations Before Rising in Consciousness
To understand how you can shift the level of consciousness you’re in, I would like to establish how your emotions, which are related to your general energetic state, affect that level of consciousness in terms of your spiritual and manifesting experiences.
To do that, we need to understand a bit of how the scale of consciousness that was introduced by the spiritual teacher David R. Hawkins works.
This scale ranges numerically from 0 to 1000, and there are values associated with certain emotions we experience, which determine the level of consciousness we are at.
The lowest numerical value of consciousness that is the baseline for humans is 20. When we spend our usual emotional state centers on emotions like guilt, fear, anger etc. our level of consciousness value ranges between from 20 till and below 200. At this level of consciousness, we are experiencing from the perspective of the victim mindset.
When you enter the emotional state of courage, which on the scale of consciousness has the value of 200, you rise above the victim mindset. Between the values 200 and 700 is where you experience emotions like compassion, acceptance, love, etc.
When a person reaches the threshold the value that of 700 on the scale, and might reach even the value of 1000 on the scale, acts from a level of consciousness that is closest to what we can say is enlightenment.
Of course, you do not need to be enlightened to enjoy the benefits of a lifted state of consciousness, but to learn how to cultivate this lifted state by working with your emotions.

What follows, are 3 themes that I’m going to introduce to you so that you can become conscious of your emotional states, and how to navigate through them to raise your level of consciousness and thus advance in your spiritual path, along with increasing your success in your manifesting endeavors.

3 Essential Levels of Consciousness Themes for Manifesting and Spiritual Growth
Before I dive into the 3 themes that follow on how to raise your level of consciousness, I would like to stress that this is a gradual process and cannot be forced.
Each of these themes explores shifts that need to take place for us to perceive the world through the lens of high vibrational frequency.
1. Recognizing Emotional States as Catalysts for Transformation
Our emotional state colors the way we interpret life, and our idea of what is possible.
When we operate from a state of fear, guilt, or shame, our perception of reality becomes constricted. And when this happens, it is difficult for us to manifest whatever we wish to bring forth into reality, since subconsciously we are sabotaging our manifesting efforts.
So, the first thing that you need to do is to notice your emotions, giving them space to exist. This simple shift in becoming more aware of our emotions is the springboard that can help us see these emotions as patterns rather than absolute truths. This helps us realize we have a choice to either continue to let ourselves be guided by these emotions, or to step out of this state of victimhood that these emotions stem from, as state where we feel that life is happening to us and not through us.
Our emotional state colors the way we interpret life, and our idea of what is possible.
And talking about victimhood, on my path, when I realized that staying in this emotional state, kept me feeling helpless, and by observing how these emotions shaped the way I viewed myself and my potential, I moved out of this state, and choose to operate from a state of responsibility for what is happening in my life.
2. Practicing the Art of Letting Go to Release Emotional Resistance
The idea of letting go does not mean getting over” any unpleasant emotion that we are experiencing.
The truth is, the more we try to resist these emotions, the more tension we add to them, thus reinvigorating the hold they have on us.
Also, by resisting these uncomfortable emotions, our manifesting intention unconsciously aligns more towards the vibration that these emotions carry rather than with what we want to manifest.
If we let go, and breathe through our emotions, allowing them to move, they start to slowly “melt” and at some point, they can be released from our system.
In my experience, when it comes to my own uncomfortable emotions, long ago, I embraced the concept of radical acceptance. This means that whenever I experienced strong emotional upsets, be it in a short or long time, the moment I would stop and to take a breath and accept it fully, was the moment that I would make peace with this upset and giving it space to express itself and then let go.
The idea of letting go does not mean getting over” any unpleasant emotion that we are experiencing.
Of course, I still experience emotions like hopelessness or overwhelm from time to time, but because of this practice it has become easier and easier for me to switch into radical acceptance of these emotional states and let them run their course till they are released from my system.
3. Cultivating Courage as the Turning Point Toward Empowered Living
People like you and me who are walking on a spiritual path, had to face a fork on the trail in our lives where we had to decide between continuing to see life from the materialistic perspective of our society, or take a courageous step towards the unknown yet exciting path of spirit.
On the scale of consciousness, there’s a certain threshold, the value of 200, where when reached, means that we have moved beyond the ego-driven negativity that usually people act from, by utilizing the virtue of courage.

This is a pivotal moment where we leave the idea that life is happening to us and step into an empowered way of living, where we realize we are responsible for our circumstances — of course by being at the same time aware that we are not in control of everything but at least for a big chunk of it.
For me, whenever I would face a challenge at the early stages of my spiritual journey, I would find the courage to step out of my “misery” and do my favorite thing, which was to go to a bookstore in search for guidance through spiritual or personal development books, and I would be astonished to find out that the universe through synchronicity would give me what I needed in order for me to deal with the said challenge.
Conclusion
Exploring the levels of consciousness is about realizing how your emotional landscape affects your spiritual growth, and especially your ability to manifest whatever your heart desires.
When feeling low, your energy clashes with your intentions of what you want to manifest and thus negates your attempts. But if your level of consciousness is high enough, your positive emotional state becomes an ally in your manifesting efforts.
As I said above, raising the level of your consciousness is a gradual process, which entails conscious efforts and the deprogramming of bad habits of sinking into victimhood, that takes time. But when you have finally done the work, you will realize your efforts were truly worth it.
Till next time, take care.
